Lobster Boat - Bar Harbor, ME

that's not a lobster boat. Its an independently owned groundfish boat. One of two left in Downeast Maine. Both are out of Bar Harbor. The smaller boats you see out there are lobster boats. See all that rigging? Thats what manages the several hundred feet of netting they use to drag the sea bottom. The only fish I ever eat is off that boat right there.

Yeah, I took a guess. All I knew was that it had something to do with the "seafood economy" (just made that up). While lobster is an important part of the economy, it's clear that it's not everything.

Hee! So true. And what is with the Moose store? Cool Like a What, Now?

Of course, if you come to DC, it's the same thing. Vendors everywhere and tees are 3 for $10. The t-shirt economy is definitely alive and well in the nation's capital!
